Watermouth Castle offers a rare combination of opportunities with 7 self catering apartments. Not only do our visitors have the chance to stay in a Castle, but they can also enjoy free entry to one of the West Country’s premier tourist attractions during their stay, when the Park is open to the public.
Within the splendid castle itself, there are seven superb self-catering apartments. These are available between Easter and the end of October, sleeping from 2-6 persons with two or three bedrooms. Additionally we have an indoor heated swimming pool plus outside patio area for you to enjoy.

Outside, the castle’s 50-acre estate features wonderful landscaped gardens. We have plenty of space for strolling, relaxing, and glorious walks. There are ducks and waterfowl to admire on the lake, and beautiful views from the castle over Watermouth Bay and its harbour. Here you can find slipway facilities for visitors’ boats, as well as moorings for larger craft (by arrangement with the harbour master).
Watermouth is set in a stunning and unspoilt area of North Devon. With the quaint Victorian seaside resorts, glorious Blue Flag beaches and the beauty and wildness of the Exmoor National Park, this part of the coast and countryside has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
