Join us for a relaxed evening stroll through the Castle and its illuminated gardens, surrounded by thousands of pumpkins, autumn displays and seasonal photo opportunities.

Explore the Castle, Dungeons, Illusion Museum and Gnome Land, visit our Courtyard Pumpkin Market or enjoy some marshmallow toasting as darkness falls.

27th, 28th & 29th October | 4pm–7pm | £10 per person

Please note: This is a relaxed evening experience. Rides and outdoor play areas will be closed. Pumpkins, marshmallows and refreshments are available to purchase separately.

The Courtyard Market

Our Courtyard becomes a pumpkin market for the autumn - stalls piled high and sorted by variety, so you can see exactly what you are choosing between. Big, small, wonky, round, warty or white. There’s no wrong answer.

Please note: pumpkins aren’t included in your admission ticket and are bought separately on the day.
The Pumpkin Walkways

Our walkways are lined with pumpkins - hundreds of them, in every shape and size, leading you through the grounds and into the Courtyard. A proper start to the day, and the first of many photographs.
Photo Points

Autumn backdrops built for the kind of photos you will want to keep forever, festival flags, and the beautiful grounds brought to life like you have never seen Watermouth before.
Trick or Treat Trail

Follow the trail around the Castle grounds and find our characters along the way. There’s a treat waiting at every stop, and a final reward once you’ve found them all.

Friendly, funny and not remotely frightening - this one’s squarely for the little ones.

Running weekends and school holidays only.
Marshmallow Toasting

Gather round one of our two roasting pits and toast marshmallows until they’re golden and gooey. Warm hands, sticky fingers, big smiles - exactly what an autumn afternoon on the North Devon coast calls for.
