As the sun begins to set, Watermouth Castle transforms.

Twilight at Watermouth is a relaxed early evening experience where families can enjoy selected rides, outdoor adventures and beautiful gardens in a magical coastal setting. With bubbles drifting through the park, delicious treats to enjoy and the atmosphere changing as day turns to evening, Twilight is a lovely way to experience Watermouth in a whole new light.

Please note: if you have booked a standard entry ticket on a Twilight date, you are welcome to stay on park and experience the Twilight evening; you do not need to purchase an additional Twilight ticket. Twilight-only tickets allow entry from 5pm onwards.

What is Twilight at Watermouth?

Twilight at Watermouth is a special early evening event at Watermouth Castle, held on selected dates during the summer season.

As the day winds down, families can explore the gardens, enjoy selected rides and outdoor play, and soak up the magical atmosphere of Watermouth in the evening. With bubbles floating through the park, coastal views, family treats and adventure around every corner, Twilight offers a wonderfully relaxed way to enjoy Watermouth later in the day.

It is ideal for families looking for an evening activity in North Devon, whether you are extending your day at Watermouth or visiting especially for Twilight.

What to Expect at Twilight

During Twilight, families can enjoy rides, outdoor adventures, play areas, beautiful gardens and magical Watermouth moments as the sun begins to set.

Outdoor Adventures

Explore Hobbledown Bay, Gnome Land, the Marble Runs, Mini Golf, Maze, Rolling Barrel, Shadow Barrel and beautiful gardens as the evening unfolds.
Family Rides Until 8pm

Enjoy six family rides operating on a rotational basis until 8pm. The Toboggan Ride & Tube Slide will not operate during Twilight.
Outdoor play until dusk

Outdoor play areas remain open until dusk, light levels permitting, so children can keep exploring and playing as the evening unfolds.
Bubbles and atmosphere

Bubbles drifting through the gardens add a playful, magical touch to the experience and make Twilight feel extra special.
Food, drinks and sweet treats

Tasty treats and drinks will be available throughout the evening, perfect for a relaxed family outing by the coast.

Twilight entry begins: 5:00pm
Last admission: 7:00pm
Selected rides operate until: 8:00pm
Event closes: 9:00pm
