If you choose a 7-Day Entry Ticket, you can return throughout the seven-day period covered by your ticket. That means you could enjoy the rides one day and come back for more pumpkin fun another day.

Yes! The Pumpkin event is included with your admission ticket, so you can enjoy the autumn displays, Pumpkin Walkways, Courtyard Market and photo opportunities alongside everything you’d normally enjoy at Watermouth Castle.

No. Pumpkins are not included with admission and can be purchased separately from the Courtyard Market during your visit. With all sorts of shapes, sizes and varieties to choose from, you can find your perfect pumpkin to take home.

Not at all. You’re welcome to enjoy the Pumpkin Walkways, autumn displays, photo points and the rest of Watermouth Castle without purchasing a pumpkin.

Yes, the Trick or Treat Trail forms part of the event on the days it is running. Follow the trail around the Castle grounds, meet characters and collect a treat at each stop, with a final reward at the end.

The Trick or Treat Trail runs on weekends and during the school holidays only. It’s designed especially for younger children and is friendly and fun rather than frightening.

No! The main Pumpkin event is designed as an autumn family day out rather than a scary Halloween experience. Our Trick or Treat Trail in particular is aimed at little ones and is friendly, funny and not frightening.

Yes! There are two roasting pits where you can toast marshmallows during your visit. A small additional charge applies for marshmallow toasting.

Yes. Your day ticket includes the rest of the Watermouth Castle experience as usual, including the rides, gardens, museums and mechanical curiosities, gnome trail and dungeons

Full-day visitors can explore from 10am. We also offer an Afternoon Saver ticket for entry after 1:30pm, giving you the same Pumpkin event fun for a lower ticket price. Afternoon Saver tickets are not available on Tuesdays or Fridays.

There’s plenty to make a full day of it. Alongside the Pumpkin event, your ticket gives you access to Watermouth Castle’s rides, gardens, museums, dungeons and other attractions, so we recommend leaving yourself plenty of time to explore.

Absolutely. There are Pumpkin Walkways throughout the grounds as well as specially created autumn photo points, festival flags and seasonal displays around Watermouth Castle.

We recommend booking online in advance. Advance online tickets offer the best available value and mean you can get your visit organised before you arrive.

Yes. Watermouth Castle has apartments located within the Castle itself, so you can turn your Pumpkin visit into an autumn break on the North Devon coast.
