What to Expect on an Off-Peak Day

Explore the Castle

Step inside the Castle to uncover Victorian curios, interactive exhibits, and vintage arcade machines — fun for visitors of all ages. Discover hidden details, press buttons, spin wheels, and enjoy hands-on fun that doesn’t require staff assistance.

Courtyard & Café

Relax in the Courtyard and watch the Fountain Show, enjoy food and drinks from our café, browse the shop, or try more arcade machines. There’s plenty of seating, and fun surprises are scattered around the area to keep everyone entertained.

During quieter periods, one café will remain open to serve hot food, drinks and snacks.

Gardens & Outdoor Play

Wander through the gardens and along the trails, with playful surprises around every corner. Off-Peak visitors can enjoy:

Rides

All rides operate on a push-button system on Off-Peak days. Press the button at any ride to see which attraction is currently open, then make your way to enjoy it. This allows you to experience all rides at a relaxed pace.

Optional Extras

Certain attractions carry a small additional charge:

• Toboggan: £2.00 per ride (weather dependent)

• Vintage arcade machines: 2p and 10p coins required
