New - Marble Runs at Watermouth Castle

There's a sound a marble makes when it hits the track just right. A satisfying clack, a rush of speed, and suddenly nobody wants to do anything else.

Eight handcrafted marble runs are hidden across the castle grounds, waiting to be found. Hunt them down as a family, race each other through Gnome Land and the Wonder Gardens, and try - just try - to walk away after only one go.

Pushchairs are permitted throughout the site, except inside the Castle due to fire regulations. We operate a pushchair valet service and our team will assist you on arrival.
Arcade Machines – Should you wish to enjoy our antique coin-operated arcade machines, please bring cash with you. Children must be supervised to ensure the correct coins are used to protect the delicate mechanisms inside these vintage machines.

Dogs are welcome! A £2.50 admission fee applies per dog. Only friendly, well-behaved dogs are permitted and must be kept on leads at all times. Dogs are not allowed in play areas, on rides, or in food and drink areas. Owners remain responsible for their dog’s behaviour at all times and for clearing away any waste into the bins provided. We operate a Super Peak, Peak and Off-Peak pricing structure throughout the season. Ticket type varies by date - please refer to the online booking calendar for pricing on your selected day.
Book in advance and save! Tickets booked at least one day before your visit are £2 cheaper than tickets booked on the day or purchased on arrival.
Disabled visitors do not receive a discounted entry ticket; however, one free carer (aged 18+) may accompany them. Evidence of DLA/PIP, a valid Access Card, or a Blue Badge dated within the last 12 months must be shown on arrival to qualify. Please see our accessibility information here.
On all return visits, ID will be required to confirm the ticket holder matches the original purchaser. *On all return visits, ID will be needed to check guests matches the name of the person who purchased the ticket/s.

The Government has introduced a temporary VAT reduction for eligible family attractions during the summer period from 25th June to 1st September. As part of this initiative, we are introducing this initiative early to commence from 3rd June and run until 1st September 2026 inclusive. We will be reducing prices across eligible admission tickets and ticket bundles for visits taking place from 3rd June to 1st September 2026 inclusive.

Summer Savings applies to selected full priced products only. Please see below specific ticket types that are included in the Summer Savings promotion at Watermouth Castle:

7 Day Entry Tickets (General Admission, Children Under 92cm, Concession and Dog), 1 Day Entry Tickets (General Admission, Children Under 92cm, Concession and Dog) and Twilight Evening Admission Tickets for visits from 3rd June to 1st September 2026 inclusive.

At all Escapade Group attractions, Summer Savings does not apply to memberships, annual passes, birthday parties, school visits, corporate bookings, group bookings, open-dated tickets, animal experiences, gift vouchers, third-party products or other food and drink items.
