Admissions and Tickets Watermouth

We offer an Afternoon Saver ticket from 1.30pm which is a discounted ticket price.

Please note last entry is at 3pm.

Tickets do not require an account to purchase. You can buy them directly through the website or at the entrance. However, if you are looking to upgrade from a day ticket to one of our Annual passes or manage your bookings, you will need to create an account. You can register for an online account on our website. Please note that you will need to register with the same email address that you made the original booking for your day tickets.

General admission tickets can be more expensive if purchased on the day of your visit. To avoid disappointment and potentially higher prices, it's advisable to pre-book your tickets online. This way, you can secure your entry at the standard rate.

Day Tickets are non-refundable, but the date of your visit can be changed so long as your original visit date has not yet passed. To change your visit date, Create an account on our website, using the email address you purchased the original ticket with, log into your account on our website to make any changes.

Please note that any booking changes will incur an administration fee of £10. If you are an annual pass holder please login into your account and you can cancel your booking online.

As an annual pass holder all your visits to Watermouth Castle need to be pre-booked, To pre-book tickets you will need to have set up an account through our website. Click the login button and follow the instructions for setting up a new account. You will need your unique customer number to be able to do this. This number will be on the email correspondence confirming the purchase of your Annual pass. Once you have logged in highlight the names of the pass holder that you would like to visit and when the names turn green click "book now". Annual pass holders can also add paying guests on this page.

We have off-peak ticket prices Monday to Thursday during term time and peak prices Saturday, Sunday and during the school holidays. Bank holidays and the Friday before Half Term's are also Peak. Everyone pays to enter unless it is a child under 1. Children Under 1 are free of charge. All guests aged 1 and above need to purchase a General Admission ticket. Please visit our website and choose a day to visit and the prices will display.

Our peak days at Watermouth Castle are weekend days, bank holidays and school holiday dates. Off peak days are set in line with the school term dates, Monday to Friday with the exception of bank holidays.

Peak days have a higher price per ticket than off peak days. Please visit our booking calendar to find your price on the day that you wish to visit.

If your booking is for tomorrow onwards please email Watermouthinfo@kidspaceadventures.com with the following details : lead bookers name, email address and date you are due to visit.

If you have purchased a Watermouth Castle or Escapade gift voucher directly from Watermouth Castle this gift voucher can be used as part or full payment at the time of checked out. At the time of check out please copy and paste the whole voucher code in to the gift voucher box. Should you still require further assistance please email our team info@watermouthcastle.com with the full name of the purchaser along with the full voucher code.

Information about your visit
The toboggan ride is not included in the above, and costs an additional fee of £1.50 per ride. The Toboggan is an optional add-on product; this can be paid for on the day of your visit at the ride. Each toboggan can carry up to two people - one adult and one child.
Weather - Please be advised that the Tobbogan and Giant Tube Slide will not be operational during wet weather conditions.

Parking - If you're arriving by car, we have plenty of free parking available at the castle
Public Transport - Buses from Barnstaple, Combe Martin and Ilfracombe stop right outside the Castle

Dogs - Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed; please see our Castle Canine Code.
Pushchairs - Due to Health and Safety regulations, the inside of the Castle is not suitable for pushchairs. If you need to bring one, you can collect it after you have enjoyed the inside of the Castle.
Wheelchair users - The Castle and grounds are set within a natural valley with steep inclines. For this reason, wheelchair users will find it difficult to access portions of the site, and are allowed to enter for free as a result.
Arcade Machines - Should you want to play our antique arcade coin operated machines, these are coin operated; mainly 2p & 10p. Please bring cash with you on your visit. Please ensure that children are supervised so that the correct coins are used to protect the delicate structures inside the antique machines.

Tickets are non-refundable. You can change the date of your visit up to 1 day before the due date. There is an administration charge for this.
You can do this by viewing your tickets via your online guest account.

Our tickets are subject to peak and off peak pricing. Peak pricing applies on weekends, school holidays, bank holidays and select other dates. Off peak days are non-holiday weekdays during term time; tickets during this time will be cheaper.

Disabled visitors do not receive any discounts on entry, but can bring a free carer over the age of 18 years. Evidence of DLA/PIP payments, Access Card or a valid Blue Badge dated within the last 12 months must be provided at the entrance to our team to qualify. If found eligible, you will be provided with the carer ticket on arrival.
