Which areas of the park are open?

Twilight at Watermouth is a family-friendly early evening experience that allows guests to enjoy the park in a calmer, more atmospheric way as the day winds down.

On selected dates during May half term and summer, guests can explore the gardens, enjoy selected rides, use outdoor play areas and experience bubbles and relaxed ambience into the early evening.

• Last admissions: 7:00pm
• Rides operate until: 8:00pm
• Event closes: 9:00pm

No. Castle access closes from 3:00pm onwards.
Twilight operates as a garden and park experience only, focusing on outdoor areas and a selection of rides.

• Carousel
• Swing Boats

The Toboggan and Tube Slide do not operate during Twilight.

Yes. Outdoor play areas remain open until dusk, depending on natural light and safety conditions.

The event is relaxed, unhurried and suitable for younger guests, with gentle rides and open outdoor spaces.

Food and drink options transition from daytime to evening:

• From 5:00pm onwards
  • External food vendors operate within the park
  • Ice cream and doughnuts available in the evening
  • Drinks available in designated areas

Yes, everyone is welcome to attend Twilight. Twilight is a separate ticketed event from 5:00pm, so if you are visiting earlier in the day you will need a Twilight ticket to stay for the evening experience.

Twilight-only tickets are also available if you would like to arrive from 5:00pm and enjoy the park during the magical early evening hours.
