The retreat takes place at Watermouth Castle on the North Devon coast, near Ilfracombe, offering beautiful coastal scenery and peaceful surroundings

No experience is needed. The retreat is designed to be welcoming for beginners as well as those who already practise movement or mindfulness.

Yes. Many guests attend retreats on their own. Shared rooms create a relaxed and friendly environment where guests can connect and enjoy the experience together.

The retreat is intentionally small, with around 6–8 guests, allowing for a calm and personal experience.

Yes. Accommodation in the Watermouth Castle apartments is included as part of the retreat. Rooms are shared unless otherwise specified.

Rooms are shared unless you select a private room option. A small number of private rooms are available at an additional cost.

Depending on your room type, you may be sharing a bathroom with other guests within the apartment.

If private single rooms are fully booked, a limited number of shared or double rooms may be available for single occupancy at an additional cost (from approximately £795). Please contact info@watermouthcastle.com with your preferred room type and requirements, and our team will be happy to check availability and confirm pricing.

The retreat is designed to be flexible and relaxed. You are welcome to take part in as much or as little as you like.

Yes, the coasteering experience is fully guided and suitable for beginners. All safety equipment and instruction are provided.

No, all sea-based activities are optional. You can choose what feels comfortable for you. 

Yes, we can cater for most dietary requirements. Please let us know your requirements when booking.

We will send a full packing list ahead of your stay, but we recommend bringing comfortable clothing, walking shoes and swimwear.

Arrival is on Friday afternoon, with departures after lunch on Sunday. Full timings will be shared ahead of the retreat. 

Yes, parking is available on site at Watermouth Castle.
